HUMAN RESOURCES
The Department of Chemical Technology is one of the three departments within the Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology. Currently the Department of Chemical Technology has 18 full-time faculty staff members that engage in teaching and conducting research activities, including 17 Ph.D holders and one lab technician .

RESEARCH AND PUBLICATIONS
At present, the field of research of our Department of Chemical Technology members is focusing on: organic synthesis, chemistry of natural compounds, pharmaceutical chemistry: isolation and synthesis of natural compounds, Analytical chemistry: biochemical sensor, adsorbents for environmental applications, synthesis and manufacture of polymer and composite materials, inorganic, mainly silicate materials.

INFRASTRUCTURE
We have facilities to accomplish our mission with particular 5 laboratories including unit operations lab, organic chemistry lab, inorganic - silicate lab, analytical chemistry lab and polymer technology lab.

PROGRAM
The Department of Chemical Technology's program is built with the main purpose of training chemical engineers having the in-depth knowledge, skills as well as professional and highly responsible attitude that meet the requirements of the employers and the society.
