VEF (Quỹ Giáo dục Việt Nam) là một cơ quan độc lập thuộc Chính phủ Hoa Kỳ với sứ mệnh xây dựng mối quan hệ song phương giữa Hoa Kỳ và Việt Nam thông qua các hoạt động trao đổi giáo dục.

Các ngành học VEF hỗ trợ bao gồm khoa học (tự nhiên, vật chất, và môi trường), công nghệ, kỹ thuật, toán học và y tế (bao gồm khoa học y sinh, dịch tễ học, dinh dưỡng học và thống kê sinh học trong y tế công cộng).

VEF xin trân trọng thông báo thời gian tiếp nhận hồ sơ và quy trình tuyển chọn của 3 chương trình học bổng/tài trợ cho các năm 2015 và 2016:

1.      Chương trình Học bổng VEF, Năm 2016: Cấp 34 suất học bổng toàn phần, chương trình thạc sỹ hoặc thạc sỹ/tiến sỹ, cho công dân Việt Nam sang học tập tại Hoa Kỳ, thông qua hình thức chia sẻ tài chính giữa VEF với các trường đại học hàng đầu Hoa Kỳ.

Hồ sơ xin Học bổng sẽ được mở trên trang web của VEF tại địa chỉ: www.vef.gov, từ 10 giờ sáng ngày 10 tháng 12 năm 2014 đến 10 giờ sáng ngày 10 tháng 4 năm 2015 (theo giờ Việt Nam).

2.      Chương trình Học giả, Năm học 2016-2017: Cấp 3 suất tài trợ cho công dân Việt Nam sang Hoa Kỳ tham gia chương trình nghiên cứu sau tiến sỹ, trong thời gian từ 5 tháng đến 1 năm.

Hồ sơ xin tài trợ sẽ được mở trên trang web của VEF tại địa chỉ: www.vef.gov, từ 10 giờ sáng ngày 20 tháng 1 năm 2015 đến 10 giờ sáng ngày 10 tháng 4 năm 2015 (theo giờ Việt Nam).

3.      Chương trình Giáo sư Hoa Kỳ Giảng dạy tại Việt Nam, Năm học 2015-2016: Cấp 3 suất tài trợ cho các Giáo sư Hoa Kỳ giảng dạy bằng tiếng Anh tại các trường đại học Việt Nam, trực tiếp trên lớp hoặc trực tuyến từ Hoa Kỳ, trong thời gian từ 1 đến 2 học kỳ.

Hồ sơ xin tài trợ hiện đang mở trên trang web của VEF tại địa chỉ: www.vef.gov từ ngày 15 tháng 10 năm 2014 đến ngày 26 tháng 2 năm 2015 (theo giờ Hoa Kỳ).

VEF is an independent federal agency of the U.S. Government with the primary purpose of promoting the bilateral relationship between the United States and Vietnam through educational exchanges.

The fields of studies supported by VEF are sciences (natural, physical, and environmental), and technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine (including biomedical sciences as well as epidemiology, nutrition, and biostatistics within public health).

We are pleased to announce the timeline and application process of the 3 programs for the years of 2015 and 2016, as below:

1.      Fellowship Program for Cohort 2016: Approximately 34 Fellowships for Vietnamese nationals to pursue graduate studies (Master's or Master's/Ph.D. programs) in the U.S., through cost-sharing agreements between VEF and highly-regarded U.S. universities.

2.      Visiting Scholar Program for Academic Year 2016-2017: Up to 3 grants for Vietnamese nationals to under-take postdoctoral professional development programs in the U.S., from 5 to 12 months.

Applications will be available ONLY online at VEF website at www.vef.gov, from10:00 a.m., January 20, 2015, to 10:00 a.m., April 10, 2015 (Vietnam time).

3.      U.S. Faculty Scholar Program for Academic Year 2015-2016: Up to 3 grants for U.S. faculty to teach courses in English at Vietnamese universities either on-site in Vietnam or by interactive, real-time videoconferencing from the United States, from one to two semesters.
